These terms cover the public Leanersoft website. They are meant to be practical and readable. If a separate written agreement is signed for client work or product access, that separate agreement controls over anything on this page.

Using this site

You may browse, read, link to, and share the public pages of leanersoft.com in the normal way. Do not use the site for unlawful activity, abuse, disruption, or attempts to interfere with the service.

Accuracy

Leanersoft aims to keep the site accurate, but some pages describe a product in public alpha, planned pricing, or services that depend on project scope. Details can change.

Nothing on the site should be treated as legal, accounting, regulatory, or security advice tailored to your situation. If you need that kind of advice, you should get it from the right professional.

Semnote alpha

Semnote is presented here as a public alpha product. Alpha means the software is real, but still evolving. Features, pricing posture, and availability can change as the product develops.

Unless separate product-specific terms are published, Semnote alpha access is offered as-is and as-available, to the extent permitted by law. That is normal for early software.

Service enquiries and client work

Sending an email, booking a meeting, or discussing a possible project does not by itself create a client relationship, delivery commitment, or guaranteed availability.

Paid work starts only when scope, pricing, and terms are agreed in writing. For client work, the project-specific agreement, proposal, or statement of work governs deliverables, payment, intellectual property, support, and handover.

Where Leanersoft publishes price ranges or hourly rates on the site, those are there to help people qualify fit early. They are not automatic quotes for every project.

Licensing and intellectual property

Leanersoft and Semnote use open licenses for software and content where stated. The current summary lives on the Licensing page.

Logos, names, and trademarks are not automatically granted for unrestricted reuse just because other materials are open-licensed. If you need permission beyond the published licenses, ask first.

External links and third-party services

The site may link to other websites or services for context, comparison, or contact. Leanersoft is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those external sites.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, this website and its public materials are provided without warranties of any kind. Leanersoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site itself.

This does not remove liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These site terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, unless mandatory law where you are located requires something else.
